01. Cleanse

Use as a soft morning cleanse, or skip cleanser and rinse with water if skin feels dry. This is the mid-range upgrade because the texture is more cushioning and less utilitarian than a basic drugstore cleanser.

02. Vitamin C

Paula's Choice C15 Super Booster

Apply a few drops to dry skin in the morning. This is a 15% vitamin C serum, so it is a bit more ambitious than the drugstore tier. If it stings, use it every other morning or pause until the retinal routine is comfortable.

03. Azelaic Acid

Paula's Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster

Apply a thin layer after vitamin C, or mix it into moisturizer if your skin prefers fewer separate layers. This is a good mid-tier brightening and redness-support step, especially if pigmentation and texture are part of the anti-aging concern.

Because this formula also includes salicylic acid, start a few mornings a week if your skin gets dry or easily annoyed.

04. Barrier Cream

Skinfix Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream

Apply a thin layer over vitamin C. This is where the routine buys a nicer daily experience: richer barrier support, a cushier finish, and enough comfort to make actives less annoying.

For oily skin, swap to Skinfix Skin Barrier Restoring Gel Cream or use a lighter layer.

05. SPF Eye Cream

Supergoop Bright-Eyed 100% Mineral Eye Cream SPF 40

Tap an even layer around the eye contour before face sunscreen. This is a mineral SPF 40 eye cream with a peach tint, giving the delicate area dedicated protection without asking a slippery primer sunscreen to migrate right up to the lash line.

If the tint is not a match, the untinted, fragrance-free Ultrasun Eye Protection SPF 30 is the stronger European alternative.

06. SPF

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen SPF 50

Use as the final morning step. This has that clear, primer-like finish people either love or hate (I'm honestly not the biggest fan).

If you prefer a mineral option, Supergoop Mineral Mattescreen SPF 40 has a subtle neutral tint to reduce cast, but the shade still needs to work for your skin tone.
