01. Cleanse

Start with a simple cleanse. In Vogue, Laufey says her first step is always cleanser and names CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser; in PORTER, she also says she uses a CeraVe face wash in the morning.

02. Light Moisturizer

CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion

Apply a light layer after cleansing. In Vogue, Laufey uses CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion in the morning too, and says she started struggling with hormonal acne in her 20s.

In her Allure routine, she used CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion, saying her dermatologist recommended it and that it is simple and good under makeup.

Use as an occasional de-puffing and comfort step before a long day, flight, or show. Vogue and Elite Daily both mention her love of Icelandic eye patches, and Elite Daily identifies BIOEFFECT as the Icelandic brand she likes.

05. Stage SPF Spray

Use as a stage or festival makeup-setting SPF, not as the only sunscreen for a normal outdoor day. Elite Daily says Laufey used the ONE/SIZE finishing spray with sunscreen at Coachella so her makeup would stay on and not get crusty.

06. Lip Balm

Load up while getting ready. In Allure, Laufey says she has used Blistex since high school and loves that it is minty; in Vogue, she calls a good lip balm the last step in her simple skincare routine and says the minty feeling made lip balm tolerable for her.
